"My name is Howard Lederer and I play online poker exclusively at Full Tilt Poker.

If you want to learn more about my poker career, keep reading...

At eighteen, I deferred college for a year and moved to New York to pursue my passion for chess. I instead discovered a poker game in the back room of the chess club. I was immediately hooked. For two years, I played poker relentlessly -- seventy to eighty hours a week -- and went home broke nine nights out of ten.

Luckily, I found the Mayfair Club and became part of a group of players who were the first to experiment with no-limit hold 'em in New York. We'd start at 4 PM and wind down by 2 AM, then go to a bar for a lively discussion of the day's game. We were all new to the game, but the ideas flowed freely and our games improved dramatically.

In order to take my game to the next level, I moved to Las Vegas in 1993. I concentrated on cash games until 2002, when WPT tournaments became a monthly event.

I've got two WSOP bracelets, 2 WPT titles, 2 Hall of Fames titles and 3 Bellagio titles.

When I'm not playing in a tournament, I'm occasionally doing commentary and analysis. This has helped cement my nickname, "The Professor." I also run a Poker Fantasy Camp where people can play with and learn from the best in the game -- just like you can when you play on FullTiltPoker.com"
