$250,000 WSOPE FREEROLL GIVEAWAY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Launch Freeroll

1. The WSOPE launch freerolls will run from Wednesday 11th July until Sunday 15th July 2007.
2. Each tournament will begin at 8pm BST, with the exception of Sunday 15th July which begins at 2pm BST.
3. Each freeroll will offer 9 seats to the $250,000 final.
4. Qualifiers must be available to play in the final on the 2nd September 2007.
5. If a player qualifies for the $250K WSOPE freeroll more than once, he/she is still only eligible for one seat.
   

Daily New Player Freeroll

1. Daily New Player WSOPE freeroll satellites are open to any player who registers a poker alias on the Betfair Poker software, for up to seven days after registration of this alias.
2. Players will not be eligible to play the day they register their poker alias, but can do so any of the 6 following evenings.
3. A day is defined as before 23:59 on the day of registration
4. A player is only allowed to play in a new player freeroll satellite once.
5. Qualifiers must be available to play in the final on the 2nd September 2007.
6. If a player qualifies for the $250K WSOPE freeroll more than once, he/she is still only eligible for one seat.
   

Weekly 250 Betfair Points Freeroll

1. To be eligible for the WSOPE weekly freeroll satellite tournament, players need to have earned a total of 250 betfair points, with a requirement of at least 100 from poker, in that week.
2. Players can check the amount of Betfair points earned that week under 'my account' on www.betfair.com, and can click here to see those earned from poker.
3. In relation to this promotion, a week is defined as 00:01 on the proceeding Sunday to 23:59 on the proceeding Saturday.
4. Qualifiers must be available to play in the final on the 2nd September 2007.
5. If a player qualifies for the $250K WSOPE freeroll more than once, he/she is still only eligible for one seat.

Betfair Poker – Standard Terms Applicable to Promotions, Competitions, Tournaments and Events

These Terms & Conditions apply to all Betfair Poker promotions, competitions and events including all online and offline tournament participation by Betfair Poker players. In the event of any discrepancy or conflict between these standard terms and any specific terms relating to a particular promotion, competition, tournament or event then the specific terms shall prevail.

1. You must be aged 18 years or over to play poker, participate in promotions, enter tournaments and take part in competitions. Underage entries will be void.

2. None of the employees, nor any family members of employees, of Betfair Poker and its affiliate companies their agents or those of their respective group companies may take part in (1) prize draw promotions or (2) competitions that involve any element of judgment by or on behalf of Betfair Poker.

3. For competitions, only one entry may be made per person. For promotions, they are only available once to any person. Betfair may determine at its sole discretion whether it believes different entries or accounts are connected to the same person, using whatever methods it deems appropriate. Where multiple entries/accounts have been used Betfair reserves the right to cancel these entries/terminate these accounts and withhold any promotional benefits.

4. Only one entry may be made per registered account. By entering you accept and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions any specific terms and conditions relating to the relevant promotion, competition or event and any applicable instructions.

5. Fraudulent, multiple or incorrectly completed entries will not be accepted, neither will entries made in breach or non-compliance with these terms and conditions. No liability is accepted for entries that are not received for any reason by Betfair Poker.

6. Betfair Poker reserves the right to exclude any entrant from competitions, promotions, tournaments, events and from use of the Betfair Poker website if Betfair Poker believes that an entrant has tried to enter by using more than one user name or is otherwise engaging in any fraudulent or illegal activity (including participation that would be in breach of the law in your local jurisdiction), whether or not that entrant would or might have won any prize but for such activity.

7. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable other than in the sole discretion of Betfair Poker.

8. By entering any competition, in the event that you are the winner you agree to reasonable use of your name and image on the websites and in promotional materials produced by or on behalf of Betfair Poker.

9. You hereby assign any and all copyright or other intellectual property rights in your entry to Betfair Poker for Betfair Poker’s unrestricted usage and agree to do all such acts and/or execute or procure the execution of all such documents in a form reasonably satisfactory to Betfair Poker to confirm Betfair Poker’s full ownership of such rights.

10. Betfair Poker in its sole discretion reserves the right to withdraw or vary the terms of competitions and promotions and/or any offer made in connection with them in order to comply with the decision of any relevant judicial or regulatory body and shall not be held liable to any entrant for so doing.

11. The decision of Betfair Poker in respect of any matter concerning or related to competitions, promotions and tournaments is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

12. All players who qualify for live tournament main events through any promotion will be required to wear Betfair Poker branded clothing throughout entire event.

13. Any reference to “Raked Hands” shall mean any hand in which the player pays a blind and/or calls or raises and for the avoidance of doubt does not include a hand in which the user makes no financial contribution.

14. In the event of a breach of these terms and conditions Betfair Poker reserves the right to take such action as it deems appropriate in its absolute discretion.

15. Unless otherwise specified in writing, in the event that you are required to travel to take part in any offline tournament or event, you are responsible for making all your own arrangements (including insurance).

16. Betfair Poker reserves the right to amend any tournament rules or these Terms and Conditions at any time.

17. Any winner in a tournament has the right not to participate. In this case, there is no cash alternative other than in Betfair Poker’s absolute discretion and Betfair Poker may pick the runner-up as the replacement.

18. Winners and participants in tournaments must agree to all reasonable publicity of their personality, television media interviews, press releases and website promotions. Event reports will also feature the name and alias of the winner and/or participant. No further consideration shall be payable for a participant's agreement to the foregoing.

19. Betfair Poker is not responsible for loss or damage to persons or property in transit to, during, and in transit from the event.

20. Betfair Poker accepts no responsibility whatsoever for system or connection problems that might affect any end user during any of these promotions, such as a fold / timeout.

21. Betfair Poker and its affiliates and subsidiaries, or any of their employees, officers or directors shall not be liable for any damages howsoever arising as a result of a participant's or winner's participation in an event or any such modification, alteration, discontinuance or termination of any tournament, and any such liability shall be borne solely and exclusively by the participant or winner, as the case may be.

22. During an event, strict rules regarding a participant's behaviour will be enforced. These may include penalties, up to and including disqualification, for foul language, abuse of dealers, players or any other person during the event, or any other behaviour that Betfair Poker, in its sole judgment, believes to be detrimental to the conduct of the event.

23. You agree that these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malta and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malta.

24. The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 shall not apply to these terms and no rights or benefits expressly or impliedly conferred by it shall be enforceable under that Act against the parties to it by any other person.

25. Any use of the registered trade mark BETFAIR® and/or the BETFAIR LOGO is with the consent of the trade mark owner The Sporting Exchange Limited.

26. The promoter in respect of any prize draws, competitions and promotions is Betfair Poker Limited.
